[Opinions] Re: WDYTO Journey
It's too much of a word name for me. I like Patience, Grace (only as a middle name), and Mercedes (I classify this name as a virtue name). I'm kind of warming up to Remembrance. If I had to choose a gender, then I'd say for a girl. When I've read books or seen lists of virtue names, I've seen it more commonly on a girl, and it just feels more feminine to me. I like Elizabeth, and I think Elizabeth Journey flows better.Ciarda has a list of virtue names, if you're interested.

I can never decide if I really like Remembrance or not.I think I'm learning to love it though.Remembrance Sally would be a nice way to honor my g-ma.What do you think?

If it's honoring, then I'm for it. If you don't mind me asking, how is it honoring your Grandma? It'd be interesting if Sally was her name, and you're using Remembrance in front of it.

Maybe it should be Remembering Sally? LOL!Yes, Sally was her first name. I would like to honor her but am not found of her fn! I know it's a nn for Sarah and that Sara, Sadie and Sarena are all forms but I'm not very found of these either! So I'd propably use her middle name Stone as a middle name for one of my kids, propably more for a boy. *shrug* :)WDYT? Any suggestions? Forms of Sarah/Sally I should consider?

Remembering Sally may be *too* much. :)I'd say use Sally as the middle name, but if you're not that fond of it, then any S name will do. My theory is that if it honors to you, then that's all that matters. Also, if Stone is - I'm assuming - a family surname, since it was her middle name, then I see no problem with it on a girl, as a middle name. It's the only time I'm OK with surnames as middle names for girl - if it's a family surname.Just for the heck of it, these are the S names I like:
Samantha
Sandra
Sondra
Sarah
Scarlett
Shawna
Sophia
Stella
Stephanie
Susan
Susannah
Sylvia

Thanks!
I like Samantha, Sophia, Stella, Susannah and strangely enough Sylvia as well. I also like Sophie and Summer and Sorcha and the little known Simcha though I don't think I'd use it, but it sounds cool! :)
