I really like Jack too. If I ever had a James or a John, I'd probably call him Jack. I like the fact that it's simple and handsome too, that it's down-to-earth and not pretentious, it's rather classic, and it's very easy going. It can stand on it's own most of the time, but I prefer it as a nickname for John, James, Jonathan, etc. seem a lot more professional to me than Jack and I would like my son to use those in a workplace environment. For example, John Miller sounds a lot more serious than Jack Miller. Middle names: Jack Lewis
