Juliska Matild is 17 and from Hungary. Her parents kciked her out of the house when she told them that she was a lesbian and has been to numerous foster homes since. She likes to knit, watch movies, take pictures, read, and play many sports. She speaks semi fluent English in addition to her native Hungarian. She would like to go to college to become a psychologist or counselor to help teens in troublesome situations.
Ema Svetlana is 15, seven months pregnant, and from Croatia. She is worried about her future and the future of her child. She doesn't want the fact that she's a young teenage mother to hinder her child from having a good, successful life. Ema likes to write poetry, cook, draw, and sing. She struggles in school because she is dyslexic, but she maintains decent grades.
Ender Yusuf is a newborn, aged two weeks, Turkish boy. He was born with a Congenital Heart Defect (called Atrial Septum Defect, aka - hole in the heart) that makes his heart very weak. Doctors expect it to heal itself over time, but his condition should be monitored closely, as he may need surgery to correct it. After it heals or is surgically corrected, Ender's heart will be strong and there will be no future worries.

Aksel Edvard and Dagny Elise are three month old fraternal twins from Norway. They are both very healthy.

3 months later...
The twins are now 6 months old, and they've just started to crawl. We've changed their names to Axel Edvard and Elise Dagny. They try to follow Lára round the house, much to her delight. The three of them often engage in fingerpainting sessions (although in the twins' case, it's more like bodypainting) and they also have the same musical interests (meaning they'll all dance to whatever jingle's on the TV). Axel is a friendly yet quiet boy, while Ellie is the talkative one. She's a real charmer, and will smile and babble at people whenever we go out. Jón and Lára find this immensely funny, and babble back at her (sometimes I join in as well).
We're very happy with our new children, and couldn't picture our life without them anymore.

Bridget Noreen and Talulla Maeve are sisters from Ireland.
Bridget is 15 years old and four months pregnant. She likes to read, bake and cook, dance, and hang out with friends. She is very outgoing and loves to meet new people. She adores her younger sister and the two are very close. She aspires to someday be a pediatrician so that she can work with children.
Tallula is a very spirited nine year old. When she was two she contracted Scarlet Fever but was never treated, so she is deaf in her left ear. She loves animals and is considering becoming a veterinarian. Talulla's favorite thing to do is to play board games. Her favorites include Backgammon, CLUE, and LIFE. In addition to playing board games she also likes to sing, garden, play hide and seek, and watch movies.

Six months later.....
It's been just over six months since Bridget and Talulla joined our family. Both had no problems adjusting to the new family. Bridget, now sixteen, gave birth to a daughter named Charlotte Niamh who is now just a little over a month old. Bridget adores her daughter and is still keeping up with her school at the same time (she's in grade 11 now). Talulla loves her niece and all her new animals too! We got another dog for the girls just after they arrived and they named him Jack. All the girls are doing wonderful and we thank you so much for the new additions!

Zoltan Elias, Juliette Adele, and Scarlett Matilda are siblings from the New England region in the United States.
Zoltan is the oldest at 17. He is very protective of his younger sisters and sees it as his responsibility to make sure they are safe. He loves to play sports of any kind and is always up for learning how to play a new one. He takes academics very seriously and was able to graduate from high school a year early. He would love to be able to start college this year, as he has already been awarded several scholarships to choose from. He also likes to cook and grill and Zoltan is always game for hosting a barbecue.
Juliette is 16. She is very introverted and cautious. She identifies as a lesbian. Though her siblings disapprove, she is appreciative that they both support her anyway. She loves to draw and paint, read, and take photographs. She aspires to become a professional photographer or possibly an engineer, as she is very good at maths and physics.
Scarlett is 13 and the youngest of the trio. She adores her older siblings and is thankful they watch out for her. Scarlett was in a violent car accident nearly two years ago and was in a comatose state from traumatic brain injury for over a month. She is almost completely rehabilitated, but must still attend physical and cognitive therapy sessions. She loves animals, the outdoors, helping Zoltan cook, and dancing. She would like to be a physical rehabilitation therapist when she's an adult.
The siblings would like to bring their pets Sonnet and Apollo with them. Sonnet is a female Ragdoll kitten, aged about 4 months. She is very hyperactive and loves attention! Apollo is a male Border Collie and he is two years old. He, too, loves attention and is very observant.

Levi Binyamin, Gideon Elijah, and Naomi Sisel are 2 year old triplets from Israel. They were born into a non-traditional Jewish family and their parents have five children already. It's been one year since Juliet Naomi, Andrew Binyamin, and Zachary Gideon came home. When they first arrived Ruby was a little nervous, as she was used to being treated as the baby but with some special mummy and me time she got over it. She is now best friends with Zach. Isabel Leonor is a 17 year old girl from Peru. She enjoys singing, dancing, being outside, cooking traditional Peruvian foods, playing the harp, and reading. She is also six months pregnant with a baby boy. She hopes that her son can have a good, successful life. She also dreams of going to a college or university and studying architecture. She loves math and science and architecture. She would also like to volunteer for multiple non-profit organizations.
Ramona Marisol and Natalia Dolores are 8 year old identical twins from Peru. They are the younger sisters of Isabel. Ramona loves animals, drawing, and Taekwondo. It's been a year since we adopoted Isabel, "Mona" and "Talia". Isabel has had her baby, a boy she named Pablo Javier. They are both doing wonderfully. Isabel will attend a community college in the fall, and will take courses involving math and science.
Mona has taken art classes and is a beautiful painter. Talia was very reserved at first, but Carla was able to connect with her quickly. Now Talia is Carla's shadow.
All the girls have fit in very well with our family. They love having so many people in the house, as they apparently were born into a large family. My husband and I love them very much and are very happy.
