[Opinions] Middle name for Julia
Although Julia is my favorite first name, I often struggle to find a perfect middle name for her. I have defaulted in the last few years with Julia Katharine and Julia Evelyn / Aveline to honor family, but I am less concerned with this now as I feel she deserves more pop. However, everything I want to pair her with seems clunky:
Julia Eugenia
Julia Euphemia
Julia TheresaSo, could you help a girl out and suggest some middle names for Julia? To give you an idea, here are some other current combos of mine:Marcella Alice Pleasance
Dorothy Opal
Virginia LauraThank you! :)

Thank you. Julia Rosalie Faye and Julia Laurel Skye made me smile -- Faye and Laurel are both family names, too.Thank you for bringing up Constance as well, it's something I should think about more often!

I like Constance nn Connie, but it's not something I think about all that often myself. Pleasance brought it to mind.

Julia is a great name. For the record, I like Julia Katherine although you seem to feel like it's a default name. It can be difficult to pair Julia. Here are a few combos I like:Julia Margo / Margot
Julia Abigail
Julia Renee
Julia Louise
Julia Genevieve

I do still love Julia Katharine (prefer this spelling for Ms. Hepburn :)) but it's just stale as I've had it as a combo for years now. Who knows, I'm sure I'll come back around!

Love Julia Dorothy. Julia Dorothy Opal is a potential combo too, but I think I prefer Dorothy Opal on its own.Julia Harriet is a great idea too. Thank you!

You have seen the light. :) Julia definitely deserves more pop. The combos you propose are not bad. A bit clunky, but definitely usable. I might avoid the -a ending.Julia Tamsin
Julia Josephine
Julia Mäelle
Julia Camille
Julia Carmen
Julia Morley
Julia Hadley
Julia Penelope
Julia Daphne
Julia Quinn
Julia RomillyAnything you like?

Thank you!Sometimes I think double -a endings work, but you're right that it's tough with Julia.Julia Josephine is wonderful - I wish Julia Josepha worked as well! ;)I've been on a Spanish name kick lately, might be time to think a bit more about Carmen. Hmm.

I think Julia Josepha totally works! Why not?

Thank you! In particular, for suggesting Julia Maud. I actually thought of Julia Maude right after I posted this and had such a strong, positive reaction that I almost deleted the OP!I wish I liked Eunice, I really do. I like most Eu names, I don't know why I can't get on board with Eunice.

Thank you!I think about Julia Elisabeth sometimes. It's perfect, but almost... too perfect? Haha. I'm likely to use it or something like it one day, tbh.
