[Opinions] Re: Julia or Violet?
I prefer Violet although Juliet instead of Julia would also be nice.I don't feel that Liliana and Violet are too floral, Lily and Violet are a bit floral but even that isn't too floral. If you had daughters named Rose, Lily, Iris, and Violet that would be overly floral. If you use Violet and you have any other children after Violet just don't use any more floral names and you'll be fine.I will say this that Liliana, Emilia, and Julia feel like too much especially Emilia and Julia, they are just too similar. Juliet would be much better since it isn't too similar and it is reminiscent of Violet.

I also think Emilia and Julia are little too close. Dh thinks it’s fine. My love for Julia makes me not care about their closeness. Though deep down it does bother me a little.

It's just a big pet peeve of mine, Emilia and Julia are the exact level of similar as my favorites Dorothea and Althea are and I'd never use both of them. Josephine and Delphina are also too similar. But truthfully even using two first names starting with the same letter mildly grates at me - unless they all start with the same letter - but only mildly so I'd probably be okay with say a sibset of Arthur, Kieran, and Aurora if those were the names we loved the most. When half of the name is the exact same I'd never feel comfortable with that but everyone has different opinions on these sorts of things. I also am going to avoid siblings with overly similar nn's, even borderline similar nn's like Fiona "Fi" and Dorothea "Thea" might be too similar. Rowan and Aurora nn Rory are too similar because of the nn Rory.
