I love Arthur! I think of King Arthur (fair, noble, just, etc.), Arthur Wealey (form Harry Potter! Noble, fair, good-hearted) and my friend's brother (nn Artie, he's hilarious!).
So yes, I think it's an awesome first name! I love it!
I like it with Emily (Prefer Emma or Emmy) and Julia (But I'm biased :-P).
