[Opinions] Hawaiian Middle Names????
Unsure of sex yet, but we have 2 boys already so.... (Apparently in my dh’s brain, he doesn’t produce anything but males...lol)We think we have the first name narrowed down to 3 different names:
Braden
Caden
PaytonNow here is a new dilemma:
My dh is from Hawaii, he loves the names. (Reminds him of home.) Our first son is Jason Keanu because of it. We would like to do the same with this child. What do you think about Hawaiian names being used as middle names? Which one do you like? Akoni (AH-KOE-NEE)
Ikaia (EE-KIE-AH)
Ikaika (EE-KIE-KAH)
Kaleo (KAH-LAY-OH)
Keoni (KEE-OH-NEE)

I like all of the Hawaiian names much more than the first names, myself. Kaleo and Keoni are my favourite.

I like the ideo of using Hawaiian names if your DH was from Hawaii. I think out of all of your choices, I like Braden best, and of your list of Hawaiian names, I like all but Akoni. Some suggestions:Braden Ikaika
Caden Ikaika
Braden Keoni
Payton Kaleo
Braden Ikaia

Payton Ikaia
Caden Akoni
Caden Ikaia
Caden KaleoBranden Kaleo
Branden Akoni

I like Caden (rather Cayden) the most, but I think that Braden Keoni is the best combo, or else Payton Keoni, but to me Payton sounds so old-fashioned.Greets,

Congrats on the pregnancy! Of the names you have narrowed it down to, I like Payton the most, though my preferred spelling in Peyton. As far as using a Hawaiin mn, I think that it is fantastic to honor your husband's culture and to give your future son a name that is meaningful to his father.
Peyton Keoni has a lovely sound to my ear. Do you have any names picked out for a girl just in case? There are some beautiful Hawaiian girls names as I'm sure you are well away!
