[Opinions] Annalise / Anneliese
Thoughts on this name? How would you spell it? The only girl with this name was a girl from my school who's name was spelled Analise, but I prefer Annelise because it's closer to the original but kinda looks neater than Anneliese I guess.

I like Annelise and Anneliese.
I like it. The Annalise is nicer
Love it either way. This is one name I'm not too picky about.
My favorite spellings are Anneliese and Annalisa (I also had a classmate named Annalisa).

I like it. The German original is Anneliese. I believe that it was Anne Frank's full name.
Annelise is fine as well. I think I might even like it a tiny bit better.
Annalise and Annaliese would be pronounced differently in German. They look okay, but Anneliese and Annelise look better.
I also quite like Annalisa.
Analise looks misspelled to me, sorry.

Like you, I also enjoy the Annelise spelling; but Anneliese is more common in Anglophone countries (with Annalise being most common - despite the name itself not actually being that common - though I don't care for that spelling). So someone with the spelling Annelise would likely have it misspelled as Anneliese or Annalise quite a bit.
Analise looks like analyse / analyze, I don't like that spelling at all.

Annelise
I much prefer Annelise since it’s the Danish spelling and thus the one that I’m familiar with. I know enough Dutch and German to recognise that the ie makes sense in those languages, whereas the e is completely unnecessary when I look at it a Dane.
Long story short: I prefer Annelise since it’s the standard spelling in my country.
Is it used for kids and young people at the moment in your country? It’s very outdated here. 60+ name.
