Eleanor > Elinor > Isabel > IsabelleI've never cared for Isabel, and I don't like its nns. Eleanor is cool, and could be Ellie, which I could love.

Isabelle. I'd rather be named Isabelle than Eleanor. It has better nicknames and is prettier. However, I could be persuaded to choose Eleonora over Isabelle, but I think I'd still choose Isabelle.

I prefer Elinor. I don't like all type of versions of Isabel, Isabelle, Isobel, etc.

I'd take either Eleanor or Elinor over Isabelle any day. I can't decide between them, actually! Probably Elinor: less complicated, but also less familiar ... it's confusing.Isabelle is a no-no anywhere that isn't Francophone. Isabel is OK and Isobel would be my choice. I think I'd use Elinor rather than Isobel, but Nellie and Bella are both family names so it is tricky.

Eleanor, in all it's forms, trumps Isabelle any day.Isabelle is just too sweet and childish.

Isabel is better than Isabelle / Isabella Eleanor is better than Elinor. I think I prefer Eleanor because even though both names are overdone, I'd rather another Nora than another Bella/Ella.

I wouldn't call her Nora or Bella or Ella and I don't think it is likely that other people would.

Eleanor, because of spelling. Spelling it Isabelle is unnecessary. Isabel wins against the others. However, Isabelle wins against Elinor (again because of the spelling - prefer Eleanor).People might think it's superficial but spelling is important.

IsabelleBeautiful. Just beautiful. Forgot Isobel, (Bleh) Isabel, or even Isabella. Isabelle is frilly, funny, and kinda weird next to limp Isabel.Isabelle definitely wins between that and Eleanor. Eleanor is cool, but Isabelle just had more pizazz. Eleanor gives me the vibes of a aloof, rich, and quiet girl.
