Since I was young I have felt a special attraction for names, their origins and meanings, like many of you who are here, and that is why I want to share my opinions about all kinds of names.

I love vintage English names, as well as names of African, Arabic and Hindu origin, and I also have a weakness for those not so common names, although I do not like extremely rare names. In my opinion, not everything counts as a name. Names like Queen, Precious, Breathe, or Summerfield are horrible. But what I dislike the most is when people write normal names with a different spelling to make them look more "modern" and "unique". A fashion that I wish would stop now.
