It's pretty looking. Seems classic and dignified without being frilly or stuckup. I don't like the sound of it enough, though... the "meal" part. Same reason I don't care for Camille.
I slightly prefer Emilia, not only because I can say it deliberately as "eh-MILL-ya," but because it looks even prettier to me.
In general though, I don't go for names that start with an unstressed vowel. uh-melia, uh-livia, uh-lise, uh-dele, uh-manda, etc.
I guess I associate it with Amelia Earhart. Feminine, competent, classic.
