[Opinions] New names in the US Top 1000 + Names fell off the Top 1000
I know there is a general discussion of the SSA list for 2022 already, but I decided to start a new one concentrating to names that rose to the Top 1000 and those that fell off it.The new names are:https://www.behindthename.com/names/browse.php?operator_popularity=isnot&value_popularity[]=united-states&yearoperator_popularity=is&year_popularity[]=2021&rankoperator_popularity=is&operator_popularity2=is&value_popularity2[]=united-states&yearoperator_popularity2=is&year_popularity2[]=2022&rankoperator_popularity2=is&https://www.behindthename.com/submit/browse.php?operator_popularity=isnot&value_popularity[]=united-states&yearoperator_popularity=is&year_popularity[]=2021&rankoperator_popularity=is&operator_popularity2=is&value_popularity2[]=united-states&yearoperator_popularity2=is&year_popularity2[]=2022&rankoperator_popularity2=is

Jream and Jrue are terrible, and frequently made fun of on bad name sites.

Ryatt I actually don't really mind, in terms of spelling. (Ryan & Wyatt combined) The pronunciation however...liking said as "riot" leaves something to be desired. I wonder if THAT one is trending right now (another senseless word name 🤦‍♀️) but even still, I don't understand why parent's can't just name their kid Wyatt and playful call him 'Wyatt the riot' or something like that.
Jream & Jrue are laughably bad. (Hate the 'jr', two consonants together) I wonder if they're "piggybacking" off other names like Dream, True and Crew. At least that's what my best guess would be. They also just look like a typo.

My favorite entered names: (Names I don't mind as much)Arlet (Not as much as Arlette)
Aurelio (Should have anticipated this one, given the rise of Aurelia for girls. 😊)
Carla
Elisabeth (prefer the 'Z' though
Emiliana (😍 to say that I'm pleasantly surprised by this would be a grand understatement. Didn't expect this one at all)
Georgina
Inaya
Lenora
Lisa
Lottie (Not as a full name however.)
Maisy (Just as good as Maisie. Wonder if Daisy shot up. I'm sure it did. 🌼)
Nori (Adorable, despite Kim Kardashian. 🙄 Like it as a nn (Nora, Eleanor, Eleanora, etc)
Rosalina
Teo (Also should have anticipated this one, given Theo & Theodore)
Araya (Predicted this to enter. 😊)
Elowyn (wait hold on, you're telling me this one entered but not Elowen? I'm shocked, to say the least. I thought for certain the trendy, "creative" spelling would have caught on like a year later. At least it gives hope for Elowen to enter the charts. Darwin: I'm sorry but this one just makes me think of Darwin award.
Stone: Worse than Blaise/Blaze. stoner, stoned, kidney stones. Just no.
Chosen & Love: Yikes! 😬
Jream: It took me a moment to realize that this is likely a variant of Jareem or something, inspired by dream and I had to pick my jaw off the ground because of how bad it is.
Maddie: Not terrible, just rather surprised by this one.
Rowyn & Westyn: Oh, for the love of God. 🤦‍♀️ Well we certainly passed the 'Y' being exclusively for girls now.
