The year is 2013. Unfortunately, earlier in the year, Madge passed away at the age of 83 years old, after suffering a stroke. Although everyone is struggling with the loss, it hit Della the hardest, and she has taken up pottery to get her mind off of things. On a more positive note, Nate and Octavia have welcomed another baby girl, much to Zara's delight. And, Moira and Clem got engaged during a lovely vacation in Hawaii. The pair moved to Palo Alto (CA), where they adopted their son. Cécile and Charles had been planning their wedding when Cécile found out she was pregnant. As much as they both loved their daughter, her birth put an extreme strain on their relationship. Charles, being overwhelmed by work, the relationship, and their newborn daughter struggled to commit enough time to everything and slowly the relationship began to deteriorate. Ultimately, they decided that the relationship was simply not going to work, but remain on mostly good terms and share custody of their daughter. Cécile met her current boyfriend at the coffee shop that he owned. Lastly, George and Emma got married last year, and had their daughter this year.
