Not really. They just used the founder's last name. Keebler Company was started by a baker surnamed Keebler. Kellogg's was started by brothers with that last name. Ringling Circus was run by the Ringling brothers. Lilly pharmaceuticals originated with Eli Lilly. Walt Disney started Disney. Using the founder's last name as a company brand is common.
