I think it heavily depends on a number of things - what the theme is, for example. My own name is Biblical, from a tv show, associated with witches, etc so if I had a partner that matched one or more of those I would maybe consider like... from a tv show, for example. I wouldn't even mind associated with witches. I don't think I'd go Biblical though. My last name is a semi rare English surname so blah themes there.
I'd more consider a theme if I had multiples, for example. Like if I were to have a son or daughter today, I would name them Remy or Lyra, most likely. If I had twins though, I'd go with Eben and Eseld, or Leon and Lucan, or Eseld and Edurne, for some first letter matching, which I find super cute. But I wouldn't want to go too themey because it can get cheesy I think.
So, yeah, it all really depends.
