Elaina is nice - it's so much more interesting spelled this way than the dull as dishwater Elena.
Agnes, I adore. It's so cozy and cute, like a knitted sweater! I like all the different forms of Agnes as well.
Ruby - well, this has been my favourite name since I was about 16, and that was.....a long time ago. As a result it's starting to feel a teensy bit childish to me, but I'm still very loyal to it. I love Ruby. It feels so strong and fiery, qualities I would love any daughter to possess.
Aubrey - I like this for a boy, in honour of Aubrey Beardsley, the weirdo Victorian artist. But I like it on a girl as well. It's more interesting than Audrey. I get a strong late-fall vibe from it, which is nice.
Nevaeh - I'm one of those people who actually prefers this name misspelled as Neveah, because Nevaeh makes me think of someone dying with their last gasp of air escaping as they say it. "Nev....aeh!" It looks like it should be "nev-ay" to me. It's not a bad sound. I like the Nev part. I can't wait for Nevaeh to be a grandma name, I think it'll actually be really cute.
Sydney - love this for a boy. It's so 1930s. I'm too old to appreciate how 90s it feels for a girl, it's rather boring to me there.
Heaven - Too many teasing possibilities, even for me, who normally argues that most kids won't bully other kids with strange names. Do kids still play "7 minutes in heaven"?
