I went to school with a girl called Vittoria, she was Italian. She went by Vic though.
The local bus company had Victoria misspelt as Vittoria for long enough on a bus stop but they have corrected it (however they still have Helena misspelt as Helana)
I prefer Victoria though, the double -tt- looks harsh to me.
