[Opinions] William
I'm liking the name William Recently, although i'm worried it'll be way too popular to use (i want my children to be the only child in their year/grade with the name)Anyway, what do you think of William and any middle name suggestions.

I personally love William. For several years it was going to be my first son. I met my boyfriend just over a year ago, and he was saying the same thing - William is probably his all time favorite name. However, it's been sliding on my list. I dont really care for it much anymore. I still love the name, but I love so many, and William is on the downhill. However, I keep it because its the only fn Craig likes with Emmett, and I would love to use Emmett. I think a LOT of names go with William. Personally, think of the kind of combo you want - very popular (William David), Royalish (William Edward), or a mn a little less on the classic side (such as Emmett - or you could even find a name that is less trendy).

I don't know about where you live, but here in the States, William is not common. I live it, very noble sounding (maybe because of Prince William?)

I like William, but I would only ever use it in the combo William Raymond / Ramon / Raider / some other Ray name so I could call him Billy Ray. Love that name. :DAs it's on your name list, how about William Raiden? ^ ^

William is popular yes, but it has never not been popular, so it's not like it's trendy. There may well be four Williams in a child's class or grade, but they also are likely to go by different nn's so they're not likely to be confused. In my graduation class, there were three Williams, but one was Bill, one was Billy and one was Will, and nobody had any trouble keeping them straight.

I think that William is way too popular, so I doubt that he would be the only William in his grade/year. William Benjamin comes to mind.

I love William. I think William Jude sounds nice, William Edward pops into my head, but it's not something I really care for.Edit - I only know 1 William, he goes by Will. I know a few people with William as their mn, but other than that, I don't know anyone else with the name.
