Lindsey or Lindsay?
I think Lindsey makes more sense when you pronounce it, but "e" doesn't look good imo. I think Lindsay looks beautiful, but it doesn't make as much sense when you pronounce it. Opinions?

Lindsey for a girl, Lindsay for a boy. I lived in Scotland for years and I've known several male Lindsays (although all at least 30 years old), and it just looks more masculine to me. I think I prefer Lyndsey to Lindsey, though. It just looks softer. And, when I was going through my more 'creative' phase, Lynsey was one of my favourites.!!! - Angus, Elvin and "The Brow"

Both are bad to me, but Lindsay is less masculine. I guess Lindsay would be lind-say or lind-seh and Lindsey lind-see.

Hmm, I don't really have a preference. Some other ways I've seen it spelled are: Lyndsey, Lyndsay, Lindsi, and Lynsey (if you don't care about the 'd' sound)

This is one of my husband and I's favorite girl names-it's on our list for a daughter. I prefer it spelled Lindsay, although Lindsey is nice too. It is such a pretty sounding name.

The name Lindsay, in all spellings, is painfully popular among my peers (late teens in Scotland). Lindsay is the most popular spelling, then Lindsey, Lyndsay, Lyndsey, Lynsey, Lynsay, Linsey, Linsay, Linzi ... the list goes on and on. My spelling of choice would be Lyndsey.(With Lindsay and Lindsey, there is no "original spelling", because both forms are found as surnames.)_____________________________________________________________________"You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true."Elinor

I prefer Lindsay (being the original spelling), and only for a boy.

Lindsay. It does look a lot better, I think. The prn. thing doesn't matter to me. I like the name for both genders, but do prefer it on a boy.~*~*~*~

No preference. I wouldn't use either but both are fine to me*
I'm too lazy to think of a clever signature.

Lindsay, no questionLindsay's the original spelling, and looks nicer to boot imo.I prefer the name on a boy, but if it must be on a girl I prefer the spelling Lyndsay. I also like Lyndsay for a boy, but it's only a guilty pleasure liking, and I'd never seriously consider it for a RL son of mine (unlike Lindsay).

hmmm...I'm not to fond of it. It seems like they replaced msot of the letters. I'm a stickler for keeping original spellings (I'm not even fond of Lyndsay)I like Lindsey the best though, even though Lindsay is the original. Lindsay makes me want to say "LIND-sae"
