Marcia, imo is matronly and without grace....(hey theres a good name)
But Silas...is very cool and i think it means forest , which is good, which leads me to feel like its a clean strong name.

I'm not a big fan of Marcia. I'm assuming it's pronounced like Marsha (I think it will commonly be mispronounced whichever way you decide to pronounce it, though). Silas is kind of cute, but makes me think of a snail (?) and Silas Marner.

Silas reminds me of Silas Manner but otherwise I love it, very cute and unusual Marcia I have bad personal associations with Alice Favourite names: Isaac, Edmund, Iris and Anouk

Marcia (when pronounced mar-see-ah) is pretty though not on my list. Silas reminds me of silage unfortuately.

I prefer the spelling Marsha, but I don't care for Silas, as I don't like the sound of it, and I don't fine it masculine sounding.

I pronounce Marcia mar-SEE-a not MAHR-sha

I'm glad you're pronouncing mar-SEE-aIt's much prettier that way imo, MAHR-sha sounds sloppy to me (the same way a-LEE-sha & feh-LEE-sha and others do)

Marcia...I pronounce both Marcia and Marsha the same, hence the reasoning behind my reply. I know of the way you pronounce it, but I've yet to hear it in person. With the Mar-SEE-a pronunciation, I don't care for the name then. I only prefer the Mar-sha pronunciation.

Both are quite unusual but I have to say it is a good choice. I like them both and they sound very nice.
