1. What names are you thinking of most today? Angus
2. Do you think its ok to have themed middle names in a sibset if you like all the names? yeah, sure. I theme by using family names, the theme is obvious to no one but my family. I would think flowers for girls or colors for boy would be neat.
3. Do you think its ok to name a child after a book/movie character if its not REALLY obvious, and you were passionate about the book/movie? I'd use the character name in the middle, if I was aware of the connection
4. Do you think in about 8 years time it'll be ok to call a boy Shiloh? Nope
5. How do you find most of the names you put on your list, or have you just come across them over the years? Different websites, poetry, literature, history.
6. How long have you had a name list? Since I was 8 or so, a very long time ago.
7. Do you write fiction/film scripts etc? Poetry and short stories for the kids but that's it. No script writing for me! :D
8. Whats your least favourite name atm? Eloise
9. Whats the first combo that comes into your head right now? Quick!!! Ottoline Violet Elinor
10. Do you think pets should have pet names (e.g. Fluffy) or people names or do you not really care? I waffle between them, whatever seems to fit the pet. I've had cats all my life, George, Frodo, Inky, Snowball... Whatever fits.
11. Whats the oddest combo (in your opinion) that you've ever liked? Lettice Eglantine Maud, easily. My most loved oddball.
12. Do you go through phases with your names, or do you tend to stick with most of them? I cycle between really old, musty names and somewhat more familiar but uncharted ones. For example, Ottoline, Lucretia, Cecily & Beatrix all figure with my current top 7 for girls and Cosmo, Clarence, August & Angus in my boys top 9.
13. If you're planning on having children, how many would you want? I have three already but am hoping for a fourth,
14. Is there one name you'd really like to use, but feel like you can't for some reason or other? If so, what name and why. Lettice, it's the medieval form of Letitia/Laetitia/Leticia but everyone and their third Uncle thinks it's a vegetable.
15. Do you like nature/word names or think they're a bit too weird and non-namey? I like quite a few of them, but not all. I'm very fussy.
