I love it. I know it's very popular in Australia, but it's nearly unheard of here in the States. So far, at least. But it's one of those names that could pick up in popularity very quickly, I think.

Lachlan is great! Like Bex said, it's very popular here in Australia, but I like it nonetheless (my favourite boys' name is Daniel, so I can hardly complain about popularity!). I've met several Lachlans.

Here in Australia, Lachlan is the most popular name ever!
I think its finally a name that we can say is our own. I dont think Scotland has Ever had as many as us!
