-Lee names, opinions/suggestions please :)
Lee is a family name, and we would like to use it for our first baby in the future.
If it is a boy, then fine, it will be used as a middle name. However, if it is a girl, I was hoping to use it as a double barrel first name.
Any suggestions for female names to with -Lee?
Also, would it work to spell it Lei? I'm not a fan of Leigh and think Lee looks slightly masculine.
Sorry it's a bit long winded! Thank you

I think Lee looks fine. I do prefer Leigh, but if you are using a double barreled name it could be a bit much. I'm not sure Lei would work just because it makes me want to say "lay". So to pair with -Lee how about:
Anna-Lee
Jenna-Lee
Cara-Lee
Brenna-Lee
Tessa-Lee
Rayna-Lee
Etta-Lee
Ada-Lee
Or names that end with the -Lee sound:
Coralie
Rosalie
Natalie
Amelie
Marley
Carly
Beverly
Brinley
Everly
You could always use Leah, Liana, or Leanne too.

Like Anneza, my first thoughts were of names like Coralie and Rosalie. Lei would not work (imo) because of the Hawaiian floral lei. You could go with go with a female name with a "lee" sounding ending or beginning;
Leah
Leona
Emily
Natalie
Lily
Julie
Double Barrel
Cora-Lee
Rosa-Lee
Hannah-Lee
Anna-Lee (might get made fun of for being close to anally... Kids are cruel :/ )
Flora-Lee
Ava-Lee
Maria-Lee (close to merrily)

The trouble with adding -lee to names is that it can make the name sound like an adverb, e.g., Evie-Lee = Evilly, Phoebe-Lee =Feebly
These aren't so bad:
Ruby-Lee
Georgia-Lee
Jessica-Lee
Hannah-Lee
but if it were me, I'd just use it as a middle name, or go with Leah as the most obvious female version.
There's also:
Emily
Kaylee
Marlee
Leela
Leena
If I saw Lei, I'd assume it was pronounced like Lay.
