I don't buy the "really wanted a boy" argument when seeing masculine names on girls. Sometimes people just like the particular name on a girl - far more often than I'd imagine they wanted a boy and just used the boy name on a girl.
In this case, I'm guessing they
- liked Dylan on a girl
- used Jorge to honour George (maybe the spelling is changed to make it less masculine?)
- liked Rose or added Rose to add some femininity
I hate Dylan on either gender.
A tweak...Dylan Georgia Rose? Seems like it might have helped the girl-factor.
