It's fine but I prefer savannah
my soul just wilted
No kidding, mine too. Of all the comparisons...
Why? Lol
I like it. I had a roommate named Susanne (but pronounced the German way, which is not far off from Susanna) and she was awesome. Made me consider the name, as I had never thought of it much before. I think I like Suzanna a bit more. Somehow the Z gives it a bit more pizzazz. I just wish the "Oh Susanna" song wouldn't run through everyone's head.
My son had a Suzanne in his class last year. Also a cute name.

Suzanne is cute. My mother is Suzanne Alice.
Would your soul wilt if I said I prefer it with the 'H' at the end? ;)
Not since I, too, prefer it with the h at the end.
Personally I would use Susannah, but nevertheless it is one of my favorite names. I think I love the history and the underused timelessness of it. It fits in with sisters Elizabeth and Abigail, but is refreshing where the other two have been seen again and again.
Yes, I have often swooned over the sister set Susannah, Abigail, and Elizabeth. Like a classic tartan that never loses its appeal through time.
Sounds like a group of Puritan sisters in the best way possible :)
The daughters of President John Adams... :)
Well, Susanna (no h).

oh, well way to go John Adams!
Susanna's another character name. For some reason it sounds very pure and innocent to me.
I know an example of each at my school, and they fit my impression.
Susannah -- strong, attractive, rower/violinist, confident, wears bold clothing, robust
Susanna -- beautiful, ultra-sensitive, vocalist, wears classic (TASTEFUL) clothing, petite
Both of them have popular boyfriends.

Oh how I love Susannah. It's so beautiful. It'll probably be the name of my daughter, if I ever have one.
I don't see why people think "Oh Susannah" is a bad connection. James Taylor sings a beautiful version of it.

I so adore this name.
One of my greatest name disappointments is that Susanna sounds so awful with my fiancé's surname. Wah.

I love it and would use it in a heartbeat if my SO didn't dislike it. This is my favourite spelling.
I like Susanna very much, though I prefer the Susannah spelling. It's lovely and underused. The possibility of Susie kind of puts me off, though. Blech.
I like Susie (pref. Suzy)
My mom is a Suzanne nn Suzy.

It's nice, but I prefer Susan.
