Haha. That's not even Hollywood. Could have named her Fred or Oscar or Burt. James on a girl isn't gender-bending. It feels like it has been done, and done, and done, and it's over... feels like 1986. It's just trendy style, now, to name a daughter James. Or Ryan, or Elliot. It seems imagey and surnamey, not really different from naming her Riley or London or Morgan. Or Blake.

Yeah, I agree. It's so dissatisfying. It's been done. I kind of like that they are using the tradition of a unisex name like their own names are (although, are they even aware of it, I wonder?), but an edgier choice would have been juicy. Like...an old man name that is so unfashionably old, it's never going to be cool again.
