Avery --I would not consider this usable on a boy in the USA, but I don't know how it's perceived in the UK. I do like it in theory.

Finbar / Finn --Finbar is so weird to me. Like...a bar made of fins? I don't like it. I don't care for Finn either but it's better than Finbar.
Hadley --Blech, no. Tryndee and surnamey.
Hardy --The hard jokes would be NEVERENDING.
Haydn --Pretentious as sin.
Hector --I want to like this but it just makes me think of heckle.
Ilya --I want to like this too but it's irredeemably girly to me, even though I know better.
Ingo --Never heard of it, not sure how I feel. It could maybe grow on me.

Lennart / Leonard --I hate Leonard. "Nard" is such a fugly sound. Lennart is very slightly improved, but not by much.
Lucian --If it's LOO-shin, I can't stand it. It sounds drunk. LOO-see-in is not a favorite but it's better than Looshin.
Otto --A jokey German stereotype to me.
Quinn --Surname, and also "kw" is an awkward sound.
Rafferty --Kinda pretentious, kinda cutesy. I love Raphael/Rafael, though.
Raleigh --Nooo. It looks like some crappy tryndee invention like Kayleigh and Bryleigh.
Renard --Again with the "nard"...blech.
Ridley --Literally zero redeeming characteristics.
Robin --Cute but gone to the girls here. I like Robert "Robin".
Rupert --Gah, I HATE Rupert. It's the sound my cat makes when he has a hairball. Rupe. Purt. Haaaate.
Tobias --I like it a lot.
Valentin / Valentine --Eek, no. Waaaaay too teaseworthy. Be my valentine, Valentine! Where's your valentine, Valentine? Smooching noises, hearts, etc.
Viggo --I am unable to take this seriously as a name.
Walter --Walter is most definitely not ready for a comeback. It's so ugly.
Winston --Super wimpy. Hate the "wince" sound.
