I have a (not blood) grandma named Derinda, which I think is the legitimate spelling of Drynda?
Also, Treasure LaVain is just so ridiculous, it's like a comic book character or something.

Do you have any details on Derinda/Drynda?? I thought it was a fascinating find.

I'm not sure about the history of the name, especially since she is a step-grandmother, but I gather there is also the spelling Dorinda and the name and it's variants was popular in the 50s/60s at its peak and she's in her 70s, so that makes sense.

Alma Gwendolyn- I'm not fond of Alma but I do like Gwendolyn although I prefer Gwendolen.
