Aww, Alma is so sweet.
I knew a Jadwiga and a Grazyna when I as in Lithuania. Do you know where this Jadwiga is from?
Nadine Alexis is over 65? Cool
Cecile Fern is amazing. What a great combo.
Lenwood is fun. Lenwood Oliver is unexpected. I like it.
Mursel is a new one for me. A bit odd, but on an old man I think I like it.

Ha, these are great. Treasure LaVain sounds like Dangerous Nan McGrew's glam bank-robbing sidekick. I'm tempted to write her a theme tune.
Andemariam appears to be Eritrean, and might be a boy
Alexis on a lady pre-1950 is a surprise!
Cecile Fern is extra nice, all green and shiny.

Pie the Detective, I knew you'd have some dirt on some of these names! And I know right?? Treasure LaVain. Incredible.

Erith is a suburb of London, so your one could be an early geographical tribute name. It was also used, I'm pretty sure, for a male character in Anthony Powell's 12-volume Dance to the Music of Time series.Mursel is totally amazing!

I have a (not blood) grandma named Derinda, which I think is the legitimate spelling of Drynda? Also, Treasure LaVain is just so ridiculous, it's like a comic book character or something.

Do you have any details on Derinda/Drynda?? I thought it was a fascinating find.

I'm not sure about the history of the name, especially since she is a step-grandmother, but I gather there is also the spelling Dorinda and the name and it's variants was popular in the 50s/60s at its peak and she's in her 70s, so that makes sense.

This is your playground!
I guess I mainly said that because of Cecile Fern. How are you on Cecile?

Yes! Cool old people! I enjoy Cecile (though not as much as Lucille).

Alma Gwendolyn- I'm not fond of Alma but I do like Gwendolyn although I prefer Gwendolen.
Andemariam- what?!
Jadwiga Grazyna- I actually like this!
Carita Lena- it's ok I suppose.
Nadine Alexis- hate. I cringe at both of these names.
Cecile Fern- Fern is kind of cute but Cecile isn't.
Treasure LaVain- You're kidding, right?!
Evangeline Wanda- Evangeline is my number one most disliked name I think. Wanda is just terribly boring.
Vivian Winona- This combo could really grow on me I think.
Estelita- Just no.
Drynda Jean- I find Jean just a boring as Wanda. Drynda makes me think of a dirndl.
Lenwood Oliver- Nothing about this speaks to me.
Brodie- Just no.
Mursel Harry- Cringe-worthy.
???
Erith- was this for a female? It seems female to me.

I swoon for Alma Gwendolyn, Jadwiga Grazyna (UGH POLISH SO SENSUOUS), Cecile Fern, and Vivian Winona. I also love the tension between Evangeline and Wanda -- Wanda Evangeline is even better.
