What do you think of Alice Sun?I was on FB and a friend of a friend goes by Aly Sun.Which do you prefer Alice Sun or Aly Sun / Ali Sun / Allie Sun / Ally Sun?Our mutual friend spells her nn as Lizsea sometimes. What do you think of Lizsea vs Lizzie?

I don't care for the name Allison / Alison. I knew too many bullies with this name even though I met a nice one at college.I actually like Alice Sun in a guilty pleasure sort of way. Aly Sun and it's variants are also cute. I'd never use them but I like them. Most hippie names are guilty pleasure names to me.Lizzie and Lizsea are both nn's to me and I wouldn't use either as a name but I love both as nn's.

I prefer AllisonBecause honestly, Alice Sun and Aly Sun just look like somebody named Allison trying to be funny by spelling her name like that. It'd be like Thee O. Dore.

If you like Alison, use Alison. If you like Alice (which I prefer personally), use Alice. Alice Sun is pointless and will be constantly misunderstood.

As fun nicknames online, I don't mind any of the ones you mentioned. I think Aly Sun looks cooler though. As legit names - I think they are trying too hard and fail because the sound is just the same as the more recognizable spelling.
In general, I prefer things to be as easy to read and pronounce as possible. At first (second, and third) glance, I would not have pronounced Lizsea as Lizzie.
