HelpSchool prefects revisited - blast from the past
Same school, though clearly much smaller. Only the Head Boarder gets a mention. She was Marion Gane: perhaps she could cope alone.
This group ran the school in 1958! The names are very different to this year's list (my post: School prefects, below) and much more colonial if that makes sense. No black or Asian names, naturally; this was deep in the apartheid years.
Two of the girls went by their middle names, so I put their first names in brackets.
I was delighted to discover Ms Bridget Ann Jonquil Low!
