... a few naming dilemmas
HelloSo we already have Sadie Fay. Her fn is just a name we liked and her mn is after DH's grandma. Now we are down to 2 names per gender, I will list them and give you the rundown on how we got here.Georgia Colleen - Georgia is a name i have always liked. Also George and Giorgio are family name son DH side. Colleen is my middle name. Anthea Florence nn Thea - Thea is a name we both like. Anthony is my DH's deceased Godfathers name. We got engaged in Florence, Italy.Peter Anthony - Peter is my deceased father's name. If we were to have a daughter named Anthea first then a son named Peter it would be Peter James.Milo Pierantonio- MN is able to incorporate both honor names and is the name of a toen in Italy near a delicious winery we visited. Milo is just a name we like. 1. Which 2 are best as a sibset with Sadie ?
2. Is it bad to have an honor name as a FN if Sadie does not?
3. Are these combos good? I know Pierantonio is heavy but i like that it honors both people.

1. Which 2 are best as a sibset with Sadie ? Georgia and Peter
2. Is it bad to have an honor name as a FN if Sadie does not? I don't think so, but some people might and Sadie might feel a little left out (or not, it's hard to tell)
3. Are these combos good? I know Pierantonio is heavy but i like that it honors both people. I love Georgia but I'm not a fan of Colleen... although if it has meaning to you being that it's your mn I say go for it! Anthea Florence is very pretty and sounds like something people here would love, but I prefer Georgia. I get why you don't want to do Georgia Florence though (although despite the double place names or the repeating -or sounds I think it could definitely work). I like the sound of Milo, but I think it's better on a pet. Peter Anthony would be very refreshing and is so classic. Peter James is also lovely.
Good luck!

1. Which 2 are best as a sibset with Sadie ? Milo for the boys, and both Anthea and Georgia would work
2. Is it bad to have an honor name as a FN if Sadie does not? Nope. Not at all.
3. Are these combos good? I know Pierantonio is heavy but i like that it honors both people. I wouldn't use Pierantonio, Milo Peter Anthony would be very good in your case. And, NO, a child won't have long lasting psychological effects bc they don't have the same amount of MNs their sibling has. (I know for sure, I've got 3 and my brother has 2, there were zero issues this growing up)
Just using the names without looking at the meanings they have for you, but only looking at what fits best with Sadie Fay, I would go with:
Anthea Colleen or Milo AnthonyTaking the meanings into account:
Anthea Florence "Thea" or Milo Peter Anthony (or Milo Pierantonio, if it would be horrible for you to use 2 MNs).

1- Georgia Colleen and Peter Anthony
2- I don’t think it’s bad, Sadie has an honouring name in her name it’s just not her first name.
3- I am particularly fond of Peter Anthony, it’s a very strong name. I like all of them I do however think Pierantonio is a bit much but if it’s special to you and your family I see nothing wrong with it.

1. I like Georgia Colleen or Milo Pierantonio the most in combination with the sister Sadie Fay. (Sadie Fay is very lovely by the way.) Milo and Georgia are short and simple like Sadie and all are names that you like.
Anthea Florence sounds too complex in opposite to Sadie Fay. And Peter Anthony has nothing interesting or happy in it (for my ears).
2. no.
3. I like your combos. And I like Pierantonio, because it flows soooo nice :)

Georgia and Peter are not names I like, but they are the best choices, hands-down. It doesn't matter if the first and middle names on different siblings are after other people.

1. I think Sadie and Anthea, or Sadie & Peter are the most suitable. Milo Pierantonio is lovely, but the length compared to Sadie Fay would bother me. But, considering you're honoring two People in one name, I think Milo could work well too.
2. No.
3. Georgia Colleen, is probably the only one I don't really love. Colleen is a lovely name, but Georgia is not my cup of tea.

1. It’s hard for me to think of “matching sibsets” — my brain doesn’t really work that way and tbh neither one is similar in style to Sadie Fay. Sadie is simple and sweet and both Georgia and Anthea are complex and serious. Peter seems of a similar style to Sadie. 2. I don’t think so.3. Yes, they’re all good combos. My favorites are Peter Anthony and Georgia Colleen. They seem the strongest and most distinctive to me, and they both have a strong feel. I like Anthea too but Thea is becoming pretty popular. Milo seems a bit too short and sweet and it’s just personally not my style at all.

1. Georgia and Milo go better with Sadie than the others imo.
2. No I think it’s fine. A couple of my siblings have smothering first names, I do not, and it has never bothered me one bit.
3. I think they’re all nice. Good that they’re so meaningful to you! Pierantonio makes a cool middle name, irs a little heavy but no big deal.
