Which flower name for your daughter?
Replies
I like Dahlia, too! I also don't care about TBD.
Delphinium XD
Betony is nice! I like it.
What IS your daughter's name, if I may ask?
Yasemin or Violetta
Only these spellings.

Iris

Violet
It's one of my favorite flowers.

Rose. Although I said earlier that it's underused as a first name, I do see now it's gaining in popularity. I'd still use it until and unless it gets into the top fifty.
Rose

From your list, I'd pick Violet. It's the one I could most see myself using irl.
nt.
Magnolia. I love it.
Rose is already my own middle name, and a family name on both my mother's and father's sides. If it were my daughter's first name, it would appear much less... "filler." I didn't like Rose as a child, but it has grown on me significantly as I've gotten older.
As for which one I simply like the most, it would be Iris. I would also consider Jasmine, Violet, Lily, and Dahlia.

Rose
Hands down. It's simple, beautiful, works as a full name but also could elongate it to "Rosie" without much of an issue if you wanted something to carry or something more "cutesy".
Rose is on my long list anyway and has had flutters inside my top 10.
This year I've taught a little girl called Lily and one called Tia-Lilly; the name Lily has grown on me because of these gorgeous young namesakes but I'm aware of it's popularity. Rose doesn't feel as popular.
