Old fashioned or unique nicknames?
What are your favorite old fashioned or unique nicknames? I am thinking along the lines of Kitty, Minnie, Lulu, Buddy, Kit, Chip, Dolly, etc.

My grandma had an aunt named Louisa who was nicknamed Wheezy. I always thought that was adorable.

Kitty is one of my favourite nicknames for Katherine, Kathleen, etc. since Kate and Katie are now kind of overused.Minnie should make a comeback by now, it fits with names like Eleanor, Lillian or Charlotte.Lulu is very cute. I like it as a nickname for Luna and Lucretia.Kit is nice on both genders.-*Names I loveAbby

Yes but they're still originally diminutive

Ditto for me on Hattie. I love it, but really dislike Harriet, and am only neutral on Henrietta (very chicken-y)
