I agree it's terribly dull. If I was to add a sibling, it would be Victor or Sophie.

I like all the names, prefer Makayla better. Not sure they all go together

Emily, Abigail, Sophia, Lillian
Grace is a lovely name, but out of sync with Emily and Abigail. I do like the name Michaela, and it would work instead of Sophia, but it too doesn’t quite fit, imo.

I like Emily, Grace, and Abigail. They're timeless classics. McKayla, on the other hand, feels dated. I would have liked the set a bit better if it were Emily, Grace, Michaela, and Abigail.

I like the names, but they are kinda boring. Emily is my favorite because I like Emmy.

Emily - It is nice and approachable. Definitely dated, but I do like it. It is a bit like vanilla flavoring that everyone is familiar with, but it tastes good so there is a reason for the popularity.
Grace - Pretty, sweet, but not my favorite virtue name.
McKayla - It doesn't fit with the other names. The other three names were in use during other eras, but McKayla solidifies the trendy boringness of the set to a particular time period.
Abigail - Cheerful, upbeat - After having quadruplets, I might pick something with a jolly sound too.

Emily- I don't care what anyone says, it's a great name and still better than Amelie any day.
Grace- I used to love it but not so much anymore.
McKayla- It isn't my taste but it could be worse, like Beatrice or Alice.
Abigail- No real opinion. As a group, McKayla is out of place.

Honestly if I was the mom and subjected to the pain, suffering, expense and nerve wrack of carrying & raising quads I'd like to think I'd at Least use the opportunity to be a little creative.

Good answer! Agree! The $$$ it will cost…

Emily- I much prefer Amelie
Grace- Ew, I hate word names, it's like naming your kid 'Love and sparkles'. gross.
McKayla- Absolutely not, mean girl vibes are very strong, and NOT in the good way.
Abigail- So boring! and the nn Abby is absopositivelylutely the most disgusting name I have ever come in contact with!

Agree with Perrine that this set seems a little out of date. I do like Emily and Grace, though they are boring as all get out together... and separately tbh, even if they are both very pretty names. Abigail is fug and I don't understand why it got so popular. I guess because of Abby? But the Gail part is hideous. McKayla does not belong. I don't think these people thought much about these names or names in general. The fact that one sticks out so much and that they're all so passe makes me think they were just like oh yeah, that's nice, instead of agonizing like we would.

I don't get ...Why these names seem so dated. McKayla, especially that spelling, definitely isn't as popular now as it once was (ten years ago, maybe) but Emily, Abigail and Grace seem to be going very strong still.
And this is Canada, it could be even more in style there.

They're not dated. It's just that they're not fresh and they're so boring together. It's just obvious that they didn't put much thought into this set to me, not that there's anything wrong with that.

In an interview I watched the mom said that she did not have to choose one name but used the ones she liked.. something like that so I agree… random names that she liked. Apparently the dad had no say in this. ;)

I generally prefer alternative spellings to the original Michaela, but McKayla is a big fail.
It also kind of sticks out from the other three, both in style and in spelling.

Were they born recently? It sounds like one of THE standard sibsets of the 90s, late 90s that is.I like Emily and Grace and I have a soft spot for Abigail's ugliness but I hate Abby.McKayla is ugly to me but Michaela or Mikaela would have been alright.

I like Grace and Emily and wish they had been paired with another 2 classical standard names. *ik Abigail qualifies but I don't like it* If I could tweak it I would say Emily, Grace, Alice & Marie? Something like that.

Emily got lucky, popularity aside. Grace and Abigail ... yawn ... and McKayla could hardly be uglier, or fit in less well with three other names which, although currently overused, are still classics with authenticity.

I couldn't possibly agree with your statement more. Grace is a horribly overused mn these days, McKayla is atrocious, and Emily and Abigail, while pretty, are oh-so-bland.
