I prefer Lorelei, and think of flower petals floating on river currents.

I love Lorelei.

Helena, Lorelei is pretty but I can’t imagine it on a real person.

My first and last thoughts: Helen and Laura are much more to my taste. I would happily use either or both; I wouldn't consider Helena or Lorelei.

For now Lorelei. I like the magical vibe it has and I think it sounds aesthetic. Helena on the other hand, is really beautiful, but I prefer Lorelei for now.

Helena (heh-LEHN-na, heh-LAY-na). It's like Helen but doesn't seem as matronly (or as witty). Has a 'legendary' and elegant-powerful feeling, but is familiar enough that it is modest, to me.

I’d go with Helena. It’s not really my type of name but it's safer than Lorelei.
I do like Lorelei better sound wise but I just can’t get over the meaning, and I feel like people would mispronounce it all the time. Although I suppose Helena has very irregular pronunciations even though it’s not necessarily difficult.

Helena is better imo. It’s more timeless (if there is such a thing) and I prefer the meaning. It reminds me of Helen of Troy.

Lorelei reminds me of Gilmore Girls (not necessarily bad but not the best either?).

I like Lorelei personally, it sounds softer and more youthful. Plus, I like the the mythological connotations. There’s a poem by Heinrich Hein about the Lorelei (can’t remember how the name is spelled in the poem, it might have been Lorelai) that I always liked, so I tend to think of that.

Helena is alright. It makes me think of Helena Bonham Carter mostly, which is kind of cool, but I don’t really have any other associations for the name so it is kind of neutral to me.

Lorelei is best in my opinion. Helena is nice but a bit stiff and unyielding.

I prefere Helena.
Lorelei (rather Loreley) is a legendary figure - a very tragic story.
