Cordelia
Can never quite decide whether this is cute and charming or a bit stuck up and harsh for a little girl.
What do you think?

I think it sounds sweet. Reminds me of Anne of Green Gables. I used to not like the nickname "Cordie" (or Cordy), but it has grown on me since.
I think the "cor" sound paired with the D makes it harsh-sounding.
I think it's lovely. It just sounds a little dark. Cornelia gives me more of a snobby vibe.

I think it's charming and colourful. I think Cordelia had more of a snobby reputation when Buffy the Vampire slayer was on TV because of the character, but that's not part of the general public's associations anymore.
Cordelia matches the kind of "educated eccentric" type of names that are slowly gaining some admiration from new parents, like Theodora, Seraphina, Winifred, Eleanora, etc. Like yeah technically it's a lot of name, but I think people appreciate the gravitas a bit now.
Cordelia feels more friendly and accessible than Cornelia (though I like both).

Wasn't there a Winifred on Buffy too?
Oh yeah! If I recall, she was on Angel, the spinoff.... And went by "Fred". I remember thinking she was really cute!
One of my all time favorites!! Especially with the King Lear connotation. Cordelia was the last daughter of King Lear with a pure heart.
It sounds a little bit dated, but that is the only con. Honestly that's not a big deal because she could go by Corrie! It's a name I still love.

No more stuck up and harsh than any other Shakespearian names: Juliet and Miranda spring to mind. Harsh, how exactly? The sounds aren't harsh to my ears.
I wouldn't use Cordelia; no hard feelings, but there are so many names that I like better, so unless I was a gravid herring, Cordelia wouldn't stand a chance. I do prefer it to Cornelia.

Cordelia is frilly and a little bit extra in a fun way. It is cute and charming but could be viewed as "highfalutin."
Cordelia reminds me of the exchange between Anne and Marilla in "Anne of Green Gables."
"Will you please call me Cordelia?" she [Anne] said eagerly.
"Call you Cordelia? Is that your name?"
"No-o-o, it's not exactly my name, but I would love to be called Cordelia. It's such a perfectly elegant name."

I adore it. It makes me think of Cordelia Flyte from Brideshead Revisited.
I love it. It's my niece's name, she's 10 now. She has the nn "Cordy" but is frequently referred to by her full name, because it's so pretty. She gets lots of compliments on it.
I think it's very cute and charming.
I've actually been hearing it a lot lately. I've been seeing it in movies and books (Cordelia is the main character of This Girl's a Killer by Emma C. Wells, and I'm reading The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones now and it's the name of one of the character's cat lol). Anyway, I think it's on a rise and might pop back up in the charts in a couple years. It's got the same vibes as the likes of Sophia, Isabella, Amelia, etc but less commonly used.

I love this name.
When she’s younger there’s nicknames to go by if the full name feels too much. I wouldn’t call it “stuck up”, more of a book nerd/ literature vibe. It’s not harsh to me, but not soft either, I think it is nicely balanced. Cute is not a word I would use either, charming fits better.
The story is depressing but I think it’s a charming name. Little girls don’t stay little very long.
