Mathuri
I met someone recently named Mathuri. She's a half-Indian American in her late 20s from the midwest. I think her name is really pretty, personally.
I tried looking up the name but only found Mathurin and Mathurine, which are French and derived from Latin. I don't know if Mathuri is another variation of the name though. She says it like muh-tur-ee.
Thoughts?

It's okay. It could grow on me. Knowing someone with the name would certainly help acclimate me to it!

Alternate transcription of Madhuri based on Wiktionary pronounciation of root word in Hindi मधुर (madhura) muh-dʰuwr

T sound instead of dʰ is probably dialect. Maybe it is tʰ in her native region.
Aside from this, I like!

Nice!!
It sounds strange and foreign to me. I can't say I'm really a fan.
