Zeke and Kai
I absolutely LOVE both of these nicknames. Any full name suggestions they could be used for? Thanks!

I'd use them for Ezekiel & Malachi/kai. I really like the NN Kai and Zeke is growing on me.

Everyone's had great suggestions for Zeke (my favorite being Ezekiel). For Kai, my fav is Malakai (pr. mal-ah-KAI), biblical, but here are a few more:
Caiaphas (KAI-ah-fus)- Greek
Caius - greek
Cairo - Egyptian city name
Ikaia (ih-KAI-ka) -- Hawaiian
Kailash -- Indian
Makaio - Hawaiian for Matthew
Mordecai / Mordikai (mord-eh-KAI), biblical
Micaiah (mi-KAI-ah), biblical
~ Arcadia ~

I don't have anything additional or other than the obvious to suggest for Zeke.Kai is a proper name in it's own right. I see no reason to contrive a "full form" for it, especially to call him Kai anyway. That makes no sense to me.

I have my reasons for it.1) I don't like just Kai with either of the middle names we'll be using.
2) I don't like Kai on a grown man.
3) I don't mind it, but don't love, Kai with our last name.

I can think of anything for Zeke that hasn't already been mentioned, but what about Kaiser for Kai? Personally, I've never thought of Kai as a nn, but I like it for Kaiser.

Ezekiel is the obvious choice and only one I can really think of that I would even consider. With Kai, you could create your own name:Kaiden
Kaiman
Kainan
Kyan (Queen Eye guy)
etc.

I like Ezekiel and Zachary. Kai is a NN for a boy, so those don't really work, haha.
It's prn like eye with a K in front. ;)

Well, it's kind of obscure, but I love Zedekiah, it's on my favourites list and I list both Zeke and Kai as possible nicknames...so there's that, but if you're looking for something a little more conventional, perhaps Ezekiel for Zeke and Malachi for Kai?

I like Ezekiel and Malachi! Those would be the obvious ones, I guess. I just worry that it sounds kind of Jewish, which I'm not. WDYT of them as a sibling set? Very Jewish sounding, right?

Jewish? They're just Biblical names.

True, but I never meet Christian children with either of those names. And I work with children (and often Christian children) a lot.

Have you ever met Jewish children with these names then?

Yep. More than one of each, even.

Either way, they're both Biblical names. Ezekiel isn't even Jewish. I'm sure there are Christian children named Malachi & Ezekiel. Upon hearing both names, I don't immediately think "Jewish". I don't think most people would.

Well, they are Hebrew, and upon hearing that many people automatically think Jewish. You are right, and I was aware that they were Biblical - it was just in my experience, I don't meet too many Christian children named them. I'm glad, though, because I really do love them.
