Our son's name is Caedmon so we need a rather unique name for her. These are some of the names we're considering...

My daughter's name is Charis, it means grace in greek.....said Care-iss.We chose the name Caedmon last time if it was a boy....I'm pregnant again, but I may chicken out. I've been searching to find someone who has named their child Caedmon. I'm worried he might get teased and people say they don't like it. We love it for its historical value with the story of Saint Caedmon. Id love to hear how the name has worked for you. DO you shorten it or use a nickname?ThanksJen

Yesterday I met a woman named Meriel. I don't know what it means or where it comes from but she said she knew another woman with the same name.
David.

This is just one thought you might want to give your lovely new daughter a name that she will be proud to have, not one that she would not like.

Here are some unusual names for you to try, Isuelt/Isyold (pron. isyolt), from the name of an Irish Princess in Arthurian legend. Tamar taken from the name of the river in Cornwall, UK. Elenwen, meaning 'star-maiden' fron Tolkein's elvish language Sindarin. Or to really confuse people with the spelling try a good gaelic name like, Siobhan (shivawn), Sinaed (shinayd) or Niamh (neeve). Good luck!

Zoe is a great name! I really like it because it reminds me of Zoe Saldana (she is an actress, not very famous but was in the movies center stage and crossroads)
I also like Margo, i think it's pretty, very french! but how about spelling it like this: Margeux (i have a friend who spells it like that, its different)
Tea is an ok name except i know this person who has a dog named Tea....
All of the other names i dont like much but good luck! Just as a suggestion: on of my favorite names is Caramia, it means "my beloved" in italian and you can use Mia as a pet name or nickname...but you have nice taste in names! :)

I have some very unusual names for you, Isuelt (can be spelt Isyold) pronounced isyolt. From the name of an Irish princess in Arthurian legend. Tamar taken from the river of the same name in Cornwall, UK. Elenwen meaning 'star maiden' taken from Tolkein's elvish Sindarin. Or if u really want to confuse people with the spelling there is always Siobhan (pron. shivawn). Good Luck!

I love the name Anya Marie or Pheobe which means Light in Greek terms.

I like Margo (Margaret?!) and Rosalyn the best! The least is Zoe - that's more of a cat's name than a human's name.

Congrats on your incubatee!...I favor Zoe, but advise you to redirect your query to either haggisbut or babyzone :)

Zoe: No way - I think of brats when I hear this name.
Tea: It's nice, but without the special accent you want it to have.
Sage: I only now guys with this name.
Margo: I like this name. I think it's unique and charming.
Muriel: Yuck! That's all I can say.
Rosalyn: How about Rosa Lynn? I like making Rosalyn into two names, Rosa Lynn, better. So, I like Margo, and Rosa Lynn, if you spell it that way.

Huh messing with my name! lol! Anya is a beautiful name as is Rhiannon. I quite like Isuelt as well. But if you are wanting names on the Rosalyn theme then there is always Rosamund, which is really sweet and has the advantage of being shortened to rosie or rose if the child doesn't like it!

Well:Zoe: This jerky mean childish girl who spread rumors when I was in grade school about everyone.Tea: Most people will call your kid Tea not tee-yah. I can here the teasing...Sage: Its more a guys name...Margo: Its okay. Not a faveMuriel: No way, its a very old sounding name. Like someones dead aunt...Rosalyn: I like Rosalia-Rozalia-Rosalee better, but I actually think this name is kinda plain but pretty!Personally I like Rosalia because of a wonderful spirited girl I once knew by that name, also Rozalia so the nicname can be Roz.~Jensy~

Well people you could have just gutted her out and then stepped on her. Geez....I love the names Zoe and Tea, Rosalyn is pretty too, you could call her Rose for short, or Lyn. Muriel is pretty too, I don't see what you found so wrong with them. Margo I will admit I don't really like, but other than that there is nothing wrong with the names you picked. I'm not kissing up or anything but they really are pretty. COngrats on the baby too!

Maybe you didn't notice all the other stuff below about these kinds of messages!Just thought ya might wanna take note of that. Oh and all those names you've thought of are awful, I'd never use any of them even if I was paid to! Especially Tea ( do you really want your kid to be called tes as in the beverage) and Muriel (total old lady name), Sage is a herb, Zoe is too cutsey for an adult, abd Margo and Rosalyn both stink!

I second your opinions on these names. Yuck. Poor child. Unique does not have to mean ugly.

Now ladies... no need to be rude.

It is not rude to express one's opinion if one is asked. I find those names horrible and so I said so.
