Is that her birth name, or did she make it up?
If it was her birth name, you should ask her parents.
If made up, I see a portmanteau of
wer Old English "man" (like "werewolf") +
-andra Greek "man" (as pointed out by previous poster)
The feminine ending could make it to mean "a manly man's wife or daughter."
