Thor is an immortal alien prince whose people, the Asgardians, were worshiped as gods by the vikings, Jane is human and an astrophysicist. Jane and Thor met in the middle of the New Mexican desert when he was banished to earth by his father Odin, and it was love at first sight. (I couldn't resist, Marvel's Thor is my current obession, and I so can't wait for the Avengers! :D)
