A few months into her second year of law school, Flori discovered she was pregnant. She and Lyndon were thrilled, especially when just a few weeks after Maggie and Sonny announced their secodn pregnancy. The two sisters were excited to be expecting at the same time, and both were glad to find out they were having daughters--they imagined their daughters as all very close. Maggie suggested Hermione, after the characters in both Shakespeare and Harry Potter. Sonny actually suggested Lark--a bird middle name like Maggie had. Candida Agnes, Flori's daughter, was named because of Flori's love for old old names.

Only a year after Dida's birth, soon after graduating and getting a job at a law firm, Flori and Lyndon found themselves expecting again. He is only 20 months younger than his oolder sister, but the couple couldn't be happier. They took a page out of Maggie's book--literally--and went for a Harry Potter name, Neville. Moses is the name of Lyndon's Jewish grandfather.
