If it's Alexandra vs Anastasia alone, I'd choose Anastasia
But if we're considering nicknames, I prefer Alex, Alexis, Alexa, Lexie, Sandra, Sandy far more than Ann / Anne, Anna, Annie, Stasia, Stacy, like leagues more.
Though, I prefer Alexander over both, so if I would to be inclined, I'd choose Alexander for a son over Alexandra for a daughter
However, I can't do that because Alexander is a close family name, so Anastasia would have to win there
