The identity of the next pope and where he is from will play a large role.
Victor I was the first pope born in the African continent (I believe he was a Berber), so perhaps another pope from
Africa would choose to be another
Victor?
There are several cardinals from
India, but I there hasn't been a Pope from
India before. I can imagine
Oswald Gracias choosing too be another
Francis or
Joseph.
Leo and
Clement are safe guesses, but I'd like to see a name they haven't used in a while like
Anicetus,
Celestine, or
Sergius.
