One of my best friend’s name is Rosemary, but everyone calls her Romy. We’re both freshman right now. Yes, she has funny stories about a kid calling her Romeo or just Rome, but she likes her nickname. I think Rosemary is a timeless name with beauty and charm, and that it should be used more often.

I think Rosemary is a very pretty name, but if you plan to name your daughter this, be aware of the possibility that a few decades down the road, friends and family members who are fans of classic horror movies might decide to make "Rosemary's baby" jokes about your grandchild. (Not a huge deal, but it might bother some people.)

Well, this is weird. I'm not entirely sure what the listed pronunciation means... It looks like Rose-Marie. Marie being mə-REE (at least where I'm from) and Mary being MER-ee, it seems like this name should have two places of emphasis or something like that. I've always pronounced Rosemary, ROZ MER-ee.
