[Opinions] Namesakes and Jillian
I was wondering what one thought of the combo Eleanor Jillian? I am not a huge fan of the name Jillian, though I don't think it is bad either. I am using it to honor my grandmother named Jill. Also, what do you think are the best namesakes for:Jill
Darlene
Douglas
Dean
Betty
Lou
Carl
Roger
Allen
Joshua
Reinhold
Frida

For a more "classic" combo Eleanor Juliana sounds pretty. Since Jill/ Gillian is a version of Juliana the meaning is preserved.

Unless you really hate the name but like a related name, I'm an advocate for using the exact same name to honor someone.Eleanor Jillian is beautiful! I prefer the spelling Gillian, but if you're honoring a Jill, obviously Jillian makes more sense. :)

Eleanor Jillian sounds really sweet. I would say you can use Julia to honor Jillian, but I don't like the sound of Eleanor Julia.

I guess it doesn't need to go with Eleanor, I am just looking for general ideas.
