[Opinions] WDYTO Audrey?
I've been thinking about Audrey a lot lately, but I can't quite warm up to it. WDYTO it? What would you pair it with (either for a FN or MN)?

It's becoming very popular!I've heard of two little baby Audreys in the past year (I don't hear about too many babies) - an Audrey Georgia and an Audrey Paige.I think it's ok. It's a little bland, it's very safe. Like the parents sort of wanted a vintage or elegant feel but didn't want anything too strong, so they settled on Audrey, which is half housewife, half socialite. It's pretty beige, but there is something comforting and warm about it. It's kind of strange how it's gently dated but obviously not in an unpleasant way since people still like it. It makes me think of a pretty, quaint old house in a bad part of town.Evelyn Audrey popped into my mind as a combo, because I feel the same way about Evelyn as I do Audrey. Such strange wraiths, those two. They seem lost.

I used to really like Audrey. Nice, classic name. I still like it, but I don't think I'd ever use it. That said, my favorite combo is Audrey Annabelle.

With all due respect to Ms Hepburn, it's always seemed plain, dowdy, middle-aged and flabbily plump to me. Audrey likes her beer and laughs too loudly when she's out with her friend Shirley; she goes shopping with curlers in, and spikey leg hairs. Accordingly, I wouldn't pair it with anything!

I love the name Audrey, it's a fave of mine actually. DH is not so fond of it though and his younger brother and his wife had a baby girl three days after our son was born and she has Audrey as her mn, so wouldn't use it now! I love it because of Audrey Hepburn. What about these combos:Audrey Elizabeth
Audrey Isabelle / Isabella
Audrey Emmeline
Audrey Lucinda
Audrey Kate / Katherine
Audrey Hazel
Audrey Guinevere
Audrey Gwyneth
Audrey Gwendolyn
Audrey Tabitha
Audrey Faye
Audrey Sabrina
Audrey Celeste
Audrey Clara
Audrey Kathleen

I can't stand the AAAWWWW sound at the beginning of Audrey. It almost makes me feel physically ill.

I like Audrey. It is sweet & old fashioned. Not too popular but not unheard of. I actually like Aubrey slightly better because it is a little softer. Audrey Celeste
Audrey Elizabeth
Audrey Madelyn
Audrey Grace
Audrey Danielle

I sorta feel like if it weren't for Audrey Hepburn no one would be into this name. I sometimes try to like it but I can't ever completely do it. I gave up. I find it dreary and posery.Audrey June
Elaine Audrey
Audrey Louise
Audrey Davina
Grace Audrey

How can an Audrey be anything but lovely. It has a youthful air to it, yet is sophisticated at the same time. I love it.What would I pair it with? Hm. I don't have a stock combo. Off the top of my head: Audrey Paloma, Audrey Margot, Audrey Clare, Audrey Lenore?

Audrey - I like it, and my gran wanted my mum to call me by this name. It would have been old-fashioned then but not with the trend as it is now.

It falls flat for me. I think Aubrey is better. I do prefer Aubrey for a boy. On a different note, your signature made me chuckle. I like it. It is very amusing.

Audrey is a lovely name. It's becoming popular, but if that doesn't bother you then go for it. I know an Audrey Ann. Audrey Elizabeth or Audrey Katherine
