I want to love or even like Ivan. I really do. I've just never been able to manage it. And I studied Russian for years. But I can still appreciate it as a classic and try to be objective with the combinations. I'm afraid the "dark" part of Darko is too much for me. I know it comes from the word for gift. But I'm still having trouble overcoming it. :-/
If I had to pick the best Darko combination I'd say Darko Immanuel (it makes me think of being led out of the dark) or Darko Mordecai (just embrace the dark side altogether). How about Darko Stephen?
As for Ivan, my favorites would be Ivan Arkady (because I adore Arcady / Ardaky) or Ivan Jeremia (interesting and beautiful) or Ivan Rafael (Rafael has such a flourish to him.) How about Ivan Desiderius?
