[Opinions] Full name for Marnie

I've always liked the name Marnie, but as a nickname, not a full name. The only problem is, a nickname for what?!Does anyone have any suggestions for what it could be derived from, aside from Marina? Margaret...I had a good friend growing up whose name was Margaret and we all called her Marnie

Mamie is cute, but it would remind me too much of Marmie from Little Woman - I'd feel like I was calling my daughter my mother all the time :-)Thanks for the suggestion - I guess if I ever end up naming my daugther Margot, after my mother (Margaret), I'll feel justified calling her Marnie now!Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts

No prob. I was thinking about some other options. Sure the spelling is a stretch, but I think the way the syllables sound these could work.Marlene

MyrnaOr you could just use Marnie on it's own. I think that sometimes NN as full names look to jilted, but this one would be perfectly fine as a full name.
