Cecily Georgiana... what?
As a sister to Beatrice Eliza Tempest, what should Cecily Georgiana's second middle name be? Is Rose too filler-y, even with something as grand as Cecily Georgiana? I already have Wren, May, and Jane as second middles elsewhere, so I'm running out of short and sweet names to balance the combination out. Thoughts/suggestions? Much obliged!

Well, first, I'll say that I know I'm in the minority, but I have absolutely no problem with siblings having a different number of middle names. I went to Catholic school growing up and there were lots of sibling sets that included kids with double names hyphenated and not, (Mary Margaret etc.) and a lot of them also had middle names. So a sibling set might be John Paul Ryan, 'John Paul', Peter Michael, 'Peter', Stephen James 'Stephen.'I think the differing numbers of names make them all sound like individuals. So I think Cecily Georgiana has a lot going on and that adding a 3rd short middle name can't help the combo. Beatrice Eliza Tempest and Cecily Georgiana sound great together.Nevertheless, here are some ideas:Cecily Georgiana MaudCecily Georgiana IoCecily Georgiana LetoCecily Georgiana LumiCecily Georgiana FernCecily Georgiana Arden Cecily Georgiana Iris

Thanks, everyone!I might have another go at finding a different first middle for Cecily, as well as another name to pair Georgiana with, but all of your suggestions are fabulous, and I'm sure I'll use one of them if I still go back to Cecily Georgiana at the end of it. Much obliged to you all :)

I would avoid filler names unless they have a personal meaning behind them. To use Rose, for example, would suggest you only used it purely in order for the child to have three names when they easily could have had two.Cecily Georgiana Belle
Cecily Georgiana Blanche
Cecily Georgiana Blythe
Cecily Georgiana Dawn
Cecily Georgiana Jean
Cecily Georgiana Pearl
Cecily Georgiana Brynn
Cecily Georgiana Faith
Cecily Georgiana Hope
Cecily Georgiana Lark

Yeah, I definitely see what you mean. Rose is a family name, really, but the bearer isn't a particularly big fan of it. I do like the idea of Lark. Hmm.

Cecily Georgiana Heather

Cecily Georgiana EowynI feel like it has to be an unusual name to go along with Beatrice Eliza Tempest (which is a lovely name, by the way).

Whatever I try, the rhythm breaks down. Might you consider Georgina instead of Georgiana? Cecily Georgina Rose is grand enough for anyone! Or maybe play with the order? Cecily Anne Georgina would work, but Cecily Georgina Anne not so much. Cecily Georgina Clare? ETA: I'm assuming that it's jor-jee-ANN-a. If it isn't, I withdraw.

I'm saying jaw-jee-AH-na, haha :) Georgina and Georgia are too humdrum to do anything for me, but being an extra one and two syllables respectively, Georgiana really does.

I think Rose would look a little tacked-on. Cecily Rose Georgiana would be lovely though!
other ideas...Cecily Georgiana Gwen
Cecily Georgiana Maud
Cecily Georgiana Maeve
Cecily Georgiana Blythe

I'm definitely going to ponder Cecily Rose Georgiana and Cecily Georgiana Gwen. Possibly Maud, too, as Maude is a family name. Thanks!

I'm sure someone has mentioned this, but...Cecily Georgiana Maeve.

Thanks, I do really dig Maeve, haha :)

I think you should just crop it down to Cecily Georgia. Why would she want to have a second middle name, anyway? I don't have a second middle name, and it doesn't bother me one bit. Besides, Beatrice Eliza Tempest sounds like a mouthful.

Cecily Georgia is really pretty and spunky. I like it!

Right... not quite sure how or why that's relevant. I'll be keeping and eventually using two middle names, as has always been my plan, and I will not be using Georgia.

Ooh, I didn't think of Fleur or Pearl. Your suggestions are fabulous, thank you!

Cecily Georgiana Fae! What do you think?

I was actually considering Faye! It's definitely on the list of possibilities :)

Cecily Georgiana Rose is so delicious it hurts. It's the kind of name I'd use in an instant, except my wife would just give me a look :DWhat about Cecily Georgiana Eve?
vote up1
Hahaha! Eve is so lovely, but I feel like I have an excessive amount of difficulty saying A's and E's together, so I don't think I could go for it, sadly :(
